Those of you planning to attend at least part of your cocktail hour - are you sitll going to have a big reception entrance and announcement later?

We were going to do a big entrace because the dj suggested it, but after thinking about it it's just not very "us." Plus, our ceremony/ reception are at the same location- We think it would be much more organic just to join cocktails and then all enter the reception together without a big fuss.

We are attending cocktail hour and then about 10 minutes before it ends, WP and we will go back upstairs, reprep and then line up to be introduced as FI (husband!) and I will be introduced and go right into our first dance.

We're joining the cocktail hour (we want to enjoy the food that we paid for! Hahaa), then after everyone gets seated in the reception ballroom, we are getting introduced as husband and wife. We dont have a bridal party, so it will be just Fi and I entering, then first dance follows, etc..

Yes we are! I don't want to miss the cocktail hour because I want the food! But we're still going to do an entrance for sure.

I like the idea of hanging out there, leaving for a few minutes, then reentering to be announced as H&W! I think we are just going to sit down at our table for dinner though, bc we want our first dance to kick off the actual dancing and not be an awkward event before we eat.
