Description: Ivory Silk Organza A-line bridal gown, strapless crystal embroidered bodice, elongated torso, crystal embroidered hem, chapel train.

Listed as a best-selling Jim Hjelm dress: http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm/Bridal/Additional

This dress was worn during a very short ceremony that was immediately followed by a short, intimate (10-person) dinner. The dress is in immaculate condition since we didn't have a "reception" just a dinner with family only.

Dress Alterations: This dress was originally a size 8 wedding gown. I am a street size 0-2 (depending on the store). The dress was altered in the bust, to fit my 32B chest size. The seamstress added a "belly band" to help keep the dress up at the bust -- this hooks like a bra and is sewn into the dress, right under the bust. The belly band is great for strapless dresses -- no need to keep "hiking" the dress up all night! The dress was also altered in the waist (a few inches on both sides). The dress was altered a few inches in length (was taken up below the drop waist as to not harm the bead detail on the chapel train.) A button-style bustle was also added.

Oh my God... that dress is GORGEOUS!  I wasn't planning on spending that much on my dress, but you're making me re-think myself!!!

Life and death, energy and peace. If I stop today it was still worth it. Even the terrible mistakes that I made and would have unmade if I could. The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul, it was worth it, for having been allowed to walk where I've walked, which was to hell on earth, heaven on earth, back again, into, under, far in between, through it, in it, and above. ~ gia maria carangi
