Flowers

Need suggestions, please!

Hi everyone,

I am in need of some help picking out flowers. I do not know much about flowers or colors, so I really don't know what will go best with our wedding "theme." Our colors are black and white (we are looking for a 3rd color, but don't know what we want yet), with dots. Its a summer wedding. Our theme is kind of vintage/Madmen-ish vibe. The BM dresses are black knee-length halters with white dots. My dress is a lace dress with a sweetheart neckline.

So what flowers would look good with this? I am torn between soft, romantic colors (pale pink, white, yellow, maybe peonies) or a hand tied, bright wildflower bouquet. I know dots are kind of a strong pattern, so I don't know if bright blooms with look awful, or clash. On the other hand, I do love bright colors.
Help, please!

I love pink and black weddings and never get tired of seeing them.  White black and yellow would be very chic and more modern and would be great for summer.  But anything goes well with black so pick whatever you love.  I just saw a wedding on a local blog where they did black dresses and wildflowers--here's a pic.

I'm using white anemones with black centers.  My accent color is red so the bouquet stems will be wrapped in red.  Possibly some small red flowers in with the anemones.

Any color will look great with these dresses!  Don't be concerned about the pattern since it is black and white...these are both neutral colors that are great backdrops to any color.  If you are worried about mixing too many colors with the polka dots try just choosing one color but with many different types of flowers to break it up.  As an example if you choose pink you can have roses, alstromeria, hydrangea, gerber daisies, lisianthus, sweet peas, orchids, wax flower, etc.
