What'd you lovelies get done this week? Anything coming up?

I've got nothing, haha. We have a lot of things we keep saying we need to do but we keep not doing any of it. Like scheduling our e-photo session and calling FI's cousin to officially ask him to officiate.

I got all my frames that I'm using for the tables numbers and half the pictures done, put a deposit on our limos (but I am so confused on the schedule and what cars to get that I'll probably change it) and tonight we are going to our venue to make this month's payment, see the room again with the lighting, and ask some other planning questions.

Oh and I think I lost my MOH as well.....in the middle of that issue right now, don't know if I should be mad or sad. We'll see how that goes.

We haven't done danything this week other than put a deposit on the photbooth. We have a tasting with the caterer on Saturday so I'm excited about that. I've heard good things about the food and he's relatively inexpensive so hopefully it will go well.

Ummm...I pinned some wedding related stuff on Pinterest, does that count? Hahaha. Otherwise, I've got nothing.

I haven't done anything yet. I emailed the photographer I want to officially book her. And in 2 days I can finally reserve my ceremony site. They don't allow people to book more than a year in advance, so will be getting on at midnight to make sure I get it!

We had our meeting the DJ last night and we liked him so much that we decided to book him. So excited to have another one of the big checks done. Next is the photographer, which we have a couple meetings set up in 2 weeks.

rmp - What's going on with you MoH?

Bar - Let us know how your tasting goes. We likely won't be having ours until next March :( (The venue does a huge tasting for all the brides for that year at once. I'm excited but would've liked something a little more intimiate I guess - Should still be fun I hope.)

Wedding wise - Well tonight we go in and finally book our church. Excited and nervous lol
And next wed we have a couple more meetings with photographers. We met with one AMAZING one last week but he is at the very high end of our price range so there are a couple more reasonably priced ones we'll take a look at. Oh and next Monday I am meeting with a florist to go over initial flowers and stuff since I havent a clue what I want lol.

Well we worked on our guest list this weekend, so I'm working on typing up what addresses we have. I also think we got another Engagement Picture session planned for next week. Our good friends started a photography business and want to try some evening/night shots with us.

Thanks guys, long story with my MOH. Basically, she brought up some stuff that has apparently been bothering her for years now, and I don't really get why she never approached me with this much, much sooner. She also lives out of state and I guess is feeling like with all the stuff that's bothering her with us, living out of state, and being super buys with work and 2 other weddings, that she wont be able to be there for me like a true MOH should. I appreciate the honesty, but it came out of nowhere, and I'm trying to talk to her about it but don't feel it's helping. I'm hoping that we can settle our issues, then hopefully she'll commit to being a bridesmaid at least. The whole thing is coming to a head, so it will either be resovled or forever ruined in the coming days.

FI met with two musicians for our ceremony/cocktail hour (I couldn't take time off from my work so I AW at him for going by himself) and he really liked one of them but we are trying to see if we can find someone a bit cheaper. Other then that not too much wedding planning going on, we are leaving on a small road trip to Philladelphia on Sunday, so we've been doing travel planning more than wedding planning.

I can finally post real checks on here! Woo hoo!

As some of you know from Monday, we booked our venue on Friday, our one year mark. If you're curious and haven't seen it yet, it's www.walkersbluff.com and is owned by my mom's stepsister so it should work out really well. We're still leaning towards the wine cave and tasting room but haven't finalized yet.

We also have our DJ booked, a bowling friend who is giving us a $150 discount. He's really good from what I've heard/read on his website.

Lastly, we asked my aunt and uncle if they would do our photography and videography. I think they were expecting it and said they would do it as a wedding gift! And while we were there, we asked if my cousin's son and daughters would be our ring bearer and flower girls.

SO MUCH WEDDING STUFF!!!!!

I finally sent the deposit to our photographer yesterday, I've had the contract for probably two weeks, no idea why it's taken me so long! I have to contact our first choice DJ and florist, hopefully tomorrow. My FFIL told me on Saturday that they want to take care of the RD, so I am positively giddy, I hadn't heard from anyone about anything, so we have been planning to pay for everything ourselves.

Dee- the tasting we had with our caterer was in a big group, they do it twice a year. It was kind of nice because there was less pressure. Then we had a personal meeting with him after that. Good luck!

Dee, I wasn't pinning anything major, just a few hairstyle ideas and bouquet arrangements.

Ferg's post reminded me of something wedding related we did this past weekend...we asked my fiance's cousin's kid to be our ring bearer. He'll be four by the time our wedding rolls around and he's just the cutest little thing.

I actually got SO much done this weekend! Went wedding dress shopping with my sister and best friend, found two dresses I absolutely love, and am taking my mom and grandma on the 23rd for them to see. Picked out bridesmaid dreses that I *love*, and went to see a band that absolutely exceeded my expectations. We will probably book them within the next two weeks.

We didn't really do anything this past week with everything else going on. But we're going to visit my mom in Colorado before we go to Oregon for tryouts so I'm super excited, I actually get to go dress shopping with my mom on Sunday! I can't wait!

Well, dress shopping last weekend was unsuccessful. I am trying again on Monday, hopefully I find the one! FI and I are meeting with a DJ in a couple of weeks, I am also working on gathering addresses for when I eventually send the save the dates out, I dont want to be scrambling!
