Primavera (Sterling, NJ)

Hi All,

Thank you for all of your input.  I am in the process of looking at venues.  I've heard wonderful things about The Primavera in Sterling, NJ.  Any input would be great.  I am definitely trying to cut costs and this seems wonderful!

    We were in between there, the Madison Hotel and the Grand Summit (where we chose- highly recommend- down the road!)  We liked Steve at Primavera but there wasnt so much charm/character in the venue itself, its kind of a catering hall right on a busy road. The main room is kind of small too.  We had a lot of friends who got married there too, so we wanted something different. But the food is good and Steve was nice.  If you go look there, check out the Grand Summit down the road... Happy Hunting!  Also in the same area is Berkeley Plaza and Twin Brooks CC.

    I am getting married at the Primavera... We love it.  The room doesn't feel small to us at all.  I love that the cocktail hour room has a seat for all of our guests.  THe food is WONDERFUL! They gave us the most bang for our buck and have been so helpful with any questions asked.  I know many people that have attended events there and never have anything bad to say.

    Thanks for your input!  We are planning on 100 guests or less.  How pany people are you having?  What time of year?

    We are having 125 for a Sat night in July.  When we went there for our tasting the room was set up to have 2x that amount of people and it still wasn't to crowded.  They also ran a special when we booked that if we put down a deposit they would give us the larger package for the smaller package's price, so be prepared for that.

    I'm getting married there too next October and I absolutely LOVE it!  I can't wait.. and every person I talk to tells me how great it has been to go to a wedding there.

     Hope you love it as much as I did!

    I am getting married at the Primavera Regency next September.

    It's the best value for the amount of food and one wedding at a time venue. I love it there. We are having approx. 200.

    I am getting married there in June.  I always second guess my decisions so I was so nervous  putting down the deposit, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.  I now feel so confident that our wedding day will be amazing.  All of heard is the food is great!  And Steve is wonderful.

    Thanks!  I will definitely be prepared to put down a deposit.  Which package did they give you..the highest (regency? or deluxe?).. I am definitely comparing values..

    Yes, they gave me their highest package, but gave me the discount so I'm paying the price of the other package.  I think it's  such a great value!
