Ceremony Decorating Survey

Hi,

What is everyone doing to decorate your pews/aisles/rows/chairs at your ceremony?

I am getting married in a traditional church, complete with pews. Any thoughts? Any Knot links that have caught your eye would be appreciated, too.

Thanks!

Check out my flickr wedding set, you can kind of see what we did.  We had flower/bow things on every other pew, leaves down the aisle and then arrangments on the alter.  Everything else was from the church itself.

Our place was so lovely that I didn't want to over do it, so I simply had an aisle runner with flowers lined on either side, and then just tulle on either side of the center aisle.  It really looked great!

I am thinking of hanging kissing balls at the end of the pews.  Mostly b/c my church won't allow for any decorations that 'damage' anything or even rose petals on the aisle.  So I figured that I could just hang the kissing balls easily over the end of each pew.

    Hey Roseinbloom,

What do "kissing balls" look like? Are they those flower balls (untechnical term)? Thanks!
