Make-up Trial (PIP) aka "The Makeover"

Happy Monday Ladies!

Last weekend I had my makeup trial for the wedding and I wanted to share it with all of you.

Allow me to give you some background:
I'm 25 years old and I wear very little makeup, if you can even call it that. In the morning, I use the Clinique 3-step cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize, put on some spf sunblock, sheer lipgloss and I'm out the door. On special occasions I may glam it up with a little mascara lol (I know pitiful). I don't have any issues with makeup but I never took the time to learn how to apply it or figure out what's right for me. So for the wedding I planned to do what I always do but one of my friends convinced me to at least do a makeup trial for the fun of it.

Also, I ALWAYS wear my glasses. It's my signature. Dark rectangular frames with bling or pearls. I'm obsessed with my glasses to the point that I have 5 pairs of black frames (just different arms). I've never worn contacts and from the very beginning of the planning process I was convinced that I would wear glasses at my wedding. Once again it was not that I was opposed to contacts but my glasses are part of me and without them I feel naked.

Then it happened....
My makeup trial blew my mind. I could not believe what I saw. I had a full face of makeup with no glasses and I LOVED it!!!!!! Seriously LOVED IT! I'm just worried that the difference is too drastic that my FI and guests won't recognize me.

WOW you look amazing. I think you should totally do the makeup and no glasses. I too dont wear much makeup. Im in scrubs and hair pulled back 5 sometimes 6 days a week so I just dont want to be bothered. And truthfully when I do I dont really know what im doing hehehe. Can we say Youtube? lol...Anywho, You should Definitely do full makeup. Give your FI and guests that WOW factor.

WOW! You are totally gorgeous without make up, but when you enhance your features....AMAZING!!! I definitey think you should go glam on your wedding day (when else would you do it??

) and get the make up done and don't wear glasses. Trust me, people will know that it's you. They will be mesmerized by your beauty! Again, you are naturally beautiful but I say for your wedding you should go all out.

Your makeup looks great! Did you see how it would look having makeup w/ your glasses on? One of my BMs is crazy about her glasses like you. My MUA made her up for my wedding & she still wore her glasses. I think either way you'll look beautiful.

Kitty- I am a ponytail girl all the way so I know exactly how you feel. My self-imposed uniform is a black suit and a bun/ponytail. As for youtube that's a smart idea.

Shesheduke- I have to thank my grandmother for my skin. Thanks to her genes and her advice to wear SPF everyday I have been blessed.

Nice! I think makeup w/ or without the glasses would be FAB. But if you don't wear your glasses, I think folks will still recognize you. Plus they'll probably be like, "Wow!"

And maybe for your to have your glasses, you can put them on at the reception... if you even want to, at that point.

I say definitely have the make-up! If you don't feel comfortable w/o your glasses then wear them. Either way you'll be gorgeous and people will recognize you.

I wear glasses 360 days of the year. I only wear makeup when I am going out which is maybe twice a month. The folks at work all do double takes when I get "dressed/ madeup" for a Friday happy hour out with my girls. So what let them stare. I agree with everyone else. Do the makeup with no glasses. This is your day to feel like a Princess. This is your day to go over the top and look your very best. Your FI will LOVE IT!!!!! You are blessed to look beautiful makeup or no make up but your wedding day is your day to SHINE!!!! So shine on girl!

Your makeup looks amazing! Everything pops. I vote for no glasses because (I mean this in the most hetero way possible) you've got that sexy librarian thing going on where you take off the glasses and let the hair down and it's just like wow! I think your FI will love it!

I'm late but I had to respond. You are so beautiful! If only we were all so lucky! Although either look would work, I think you should blow everyone away with the makeup and no glasses. They've seen your natural beauty so give them the WOW factor!
