Knotties who were going to do the b-pics with MBR's photog- check your email. So far, I'm the only one who has signed up for the group session on the 26th, and if she doesn't get more people, (I think 3 more) then she'll have to cancel it. If you have any questions, or you want me to notify her of your email address, leave it here for me or PM me and I'll pass it along. Just make sure you're genuinely interested. It's an amazing deal, and it's in three weeks. Please? Pretty please?

JLJC--why not?? Have it be a preg B-pic session. I've seen those all the time. A few of my friends from high school have them, and they're ADORABLE.

It so would... but i've already booked a maternity and newborn session with a photographer so I can't afford it now...

I'm definately going to have some topless.. yet covered shots... i think those are so hot for being pregnant and all... lol.

Apparently, she has some Sunday openings- I just sent her a message about it. If I have to miss church, well, I guess I will. Seeing as how I will have spent the entire weekend there for a retreat...

I weigh over 200 lbs. I'm not ashamed of it, because it's related to my medical condition. But, my point is, you don't have to be all firm and toned for these.

The whole point of these is more for the woman- to give confidence and self-esteem, so she is proud of herself, inside and out.

And I am going to sound like a broken record, because it's said all the time, but it's true- if your FI is marrying you now, he loves you exactly the way you are.

Not to mention, these are not naked photos. They are tastefully done, and can be done from an angle where things like stomachs, legs, or whatever you are uncomfortable with doesn't show.

Just a thought.

MBR- she has a saturday opening now too. Kristin from the philly board was gonna do them, but dropped out. Her opening is saturday at 9. I'll be there at 11, amy will be there at 10.30. We can ride up together, if you want. RA is coming up to do our makeup that day too. I emailed you, lemme know.

Oh yeah- Cari- I'm over 200 as well... I had a baby and between the preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and garlic bread cravings....

FI loves me the way I am. And this photog is awesome. She's 7 months preggo, so she understands hangups in body image. We already had a convo about what areas I'd like her to avoid taking pictures of.

Thank you ladies, this sounds like a lot of fun. I just really need to get up the courage to do something like this. This is something I think I might want to do when I get closer to the wedding and maybe give my fiance the pictures as a gift. But something I need to think about.

Could I have her information?? Does she have a website?? Where is she located??

All of the info about the B-pics session is on that site. I know she has a couple of slots open. I also am pretty sure she is planning on doing some sessions later this year, after she has returned from maternity leave, so what you may do is email her (her contact info is on the site as well) and ask her about future sessions. That gives you time to work up the courage and all

If you are hesitant about doing a group session or she doesn't know if future group sessions will happen, you could ask her about doing a private session. They cost a bit more, but it gives you privacy and a little more time with the photographer.

The session this go round is at the Courtyard Devon, which is located up by Villanova in Philly- about an hour's ride from Pike Creek/Wilmington.

You are gorgeous, and your FI loves you just the way you are. And like Paprika said- they can do all sorts of things, both with posing and with photoshop, to help you out.

The other suggestion I would make is to check out some photog's blogs who do b-pics. This will give you an idea of what they can do, poses that you like, and ideas for costumes (costumes that don't show a heck of a lot, like an oversized man's button down shirt, can still be made to look sexy and sultry. One other suggestion that you might look into is doing pin-ups instead of b-pics, if you are not comfortable with the idea of b-pics. Pin-up pics are done in that 50s style, with the curled hair and aprons and high heels- the type that you might see in a calendar. Only they add a sexy component to it. The nice part about pin-ups is that it usually covers more, so you don't have to worry about exposing things you don't want, or being uncomfortable about it. There is also a photog in NJ that does pin-ups, but I can't remember who. If you ask on the Philly board, they should know.
