thank you note question

So we're starting to receive gifts in the mail, and I know they say you should send a thank you note as soon as you get a gift but I was hoping to do cute thank you notes after the wedding with a wedding pic on the front.  Should I send thank you notes now and then send a thank you for joining us in our celebration type note later?

    Yes - I would send a thank you note so they know you recieved and then send another thank you note. 

    We are doing thank you notes now and then thank you notes after the wedding for this type of this situation.  We also plan to send christmas cards with our picture on it.  :)

    No one expects a thank you note the next week I think because you are so close to the wedding it would be ok to wait.

    Send your thank you notes now.  It will be one less you have to send later and the gift giver needs to know that you received the gift.
