Thank you cards???

Hey ladies...I have a question. So my shower is at the end of March. Should I send thank you cards for gifts after the shower or can I send them after the wedding all at once? I wanted to do the wedding picture thank you cards but I wont have them until after the wedding (obviously). And this may be a silly question but you only send thank you cards for gifts, not for attending...right?

    Those are two completely different events.  You send one for the shower and then another for the wedding. You also send thank you cards to everyone who attended not just for gifts. Their presence itself its enough, a gift is not required.

    Send them after your shower but before the wedding.  Send the wedding thank-yous separately.  Thank-yous were only required for gifts since the reception is the thank-you for attending the wedding.

    Thanks guys...So I should get thank you cards now because after the shower the wedding is in 21 DAYS!!! So I'll do that ASAP

    I'm having 3 different showers thrown for me, so while I plan on getting all the thank you cards done before the wedding it just may not happen. So Im choosing not to stress too much over when I send them just as long as they get one. I'm also only sending thank you cards for gifts, not just for attending, since as pp said the reception is the thank you. Plus some people may not come but still get you a gift.
