    I used Fig Tree Photography (Matthew Wright). He is based closer to Philly but traveled to Lancaster for no additional cost.

    We are using photography by Barry. We've only done our engagement session so far since our wedding isn't until May but we really like them and the price for what you get was great. They are a husband and wife team, so you'll have at least two photog's (sometimes another guy getting into weddings comes too) The packages are for UNLIMITED hours, really helpful for getting ready pics through the end of reception. Editing, full rights, and good mix of prints, parent books and canvas for one of the cheapest prices I found. Engagement session included. Good luck!

    We've heard mixed things about him and his work. For the price, it can't be beat.

    Definitely all depends on what you're looking for in photography.

    If budget is no object and you want Modern Wedding worthy photos, there are tons of awesome photographers in Lancaster (first response covers a bunch of them).

    If you're looking to stick to a tight budget and still get good quality pinterest-worthy shots -- there are a bunch of those too (see some other responses).

    My photographer (M. Reed Photography) was great -- we wanted to stick to budget, have a copyright of our photos (the only downside I found in Frank King), and we didn't want to pose for hours, just wanted to have a ton of picturs showing everyone having fun --- and she more than accomodated those requests (although if we had wanted to pose in crazy shots for 3 hours, she would have done that too!).

    I used Andy Kristian, his wife is his assistant so you'd get 2 photographers. They just started offering videography as well. Awesome work, SUPER nice people!

    We are using MattNNat and I can say with 100% certainty, after seeing our engagement pictures, that they are the single best vendor decision we have made. They will work with you on packages, and they're a husband and wife team so you are getting two photographers for the price of one!

    At the very least i would say meet with them. when we were choosing, we thought they were too pricey but once we met them, they customized a package, and we spent some time with them we were totally sold!

    You can pay to have the copyright of your photos if you want, and go with Frank King. We got a 'special package price' (though it's probably close to regular price) and then paid an extra $200 to get the rights to the pics.

    Double H Photography! Howie is amazing! Unlimited time for the wedding, engagement session included, super fun to work with! I was trying to keep my wedding on a very tight budget, but at the start decided photography was worth "splurging" on... in the end, I feel like I got way more out of Howie than what he charges!!     Melissa from MReed photography - we actually brought her to Jersey for our wedding! She offers an engagement shoot for $50 - a great way to see if you like working with her, and the results you get. Can't say enough great things about our experience with her.

    Gorgeous, very original photos taken by this husband and wife team.  They are pricey but worth every dime.  We used them for our wedding, and plan to use them to take family photos later this year.
