Inexpensive photographer?

Hi!

FI and I are having a small religious ceremony in Tampa and are looking for a photographer.  We would only need them for around 2 hours, do not need an album and are on a TIGHT budget.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

    I went with Chi Photography, I was able to get 6 hours with an associate photographer for $1000. The associate isn't the owner of Chi, but he actually turned out to be Jeff Mason who is a Bride's Choice on wedding wire. But booking through Chi instead of directly thru Jeff cut down the price a lot!

    Sorry if that was confusing, but I'd check out Chi Photography, they had the best prices I could find :)

    Or I've heard of people hiring amatuer photographers from the local community college too - maybe check out St. Pete College.

    We're having a student from USF do our wedding. You might want to contact him or someone like him...photography students with good cameras will be alot cheaper than professional photographers. Here's his website if you want to contact him:

    I would try to find someone that comes with recommendations.  I went with a cheap photographer and I SERIOUSLY regret it.  I'm not saying they're all bad, just be very careful who you choose.

    i know a tight budget all too well,lol! Billy Lane is working with us and he is under 700 dollars for our full wedding! google him and his website with photos will pop up! HTH

    Scites Photography is amazing! He has been a photographer for years but just now "breaking into the business" so he is giving great prices for brides on a budget. Check out his website and give him a call:

    Sure.  You want Brooke Nichols Photography.
    She's really good at making the photos personal to the couple, instead of the same old poses that all the middle-aged men take.  And she does short shoots/no album, exactly as you have requested.  Plus her entire price list is on-line, which the men photographers don't do -- so tell her that you want to modify her shortest package from three hours to two hours, and you don't want the album and you don't want the storybook, and see what kind of price she can offer you.

    I agree with teachermegs comment, Kristin789, do you have a problem with male photographers? You do sound very "sexist" and honestly when i visited the link you've provided i wasn't impressed at all by that photographer's work. Sorry to be brutally honest, but you do get what you pay for, and yes, a lot of photographers do post prices, or starting prices on their sites.

    I agree with the previous two posters....... maybe she just had a bad experience with a male photographer but I've met amazing one's who do awesome work.

    We did engagement photos with a student and with Judy B. Judy works with an assistant and didn't cost that much more than the student. The photos are amazing!!

    You wont get much more inexpensive then this! She is a really nice lady, she did out engagement photos and is going to do out wedding
