So I'm having issues with florists around Dallas. I'm really going for a wild, undone sort of look a la Saipua (you can see my ideal florals on my
wedding Pinterest board here!) and there doesn't seem to be a lot of that around.
My problem is, the two florists that I've found that do similar work are both not so responsive. One couldn't even communicate adequately over email to arrange a time for us to meet, and I met with the other one in person and loved her, but it's been 2 weeks and other than an immediate follow-up email I got from her, I haven't heard much. I realize that a floral proposal can take a while to come up with, but I think 2 weeks is plenty of time. Am I wrong?
Can you recommend any more florists that do the "undone" look? Here are the ones I've found:
Bows & Arrows
Blue Lotus
Branching Out Events Co.
P.S. I forgot to share my
Pinterest account, and
my blog, in case anyone is ever interested in reading!
Re: "Wild" florals in Dallas
I found florists to be the slowest to respond of all the vendors I worked with. If you're wanting an answer, call them.
I loved Angela's flowers--but I don't think Meg is doing weddings until next year. It wouldn't hurt to contact her though just to see.

I ended up going with Garden Gate cause they were slightly lower in price and the flowers were AMAZING!!
As others have said, I have found that it is easier to call rather than email.

The thought has crossed my mind to DIY the flowers too. I would only take on this responsibility if I end up coming back to Dallas for the month before my wedding, and I'd use a family friend who likes doing flowers and has access to the wholesale florists around here. I'm just kicking around the idea right now, probably won't do it. Has anyone DIYed flowers on the board? Any tips? Did you absolutely want to kill yourself? haha
