Bridesmaids Bouquets

I was wondering if anyone has used a single stem hydrangea for their bridesmaids? Does this look ok? The other option our florist have us was a 7-8" in diameter bouquet. There is a $27 difference in price for each one.

I think one hydrangea would look great.  A single stem of hydrangea can be very large so most times only one or two stems are needed to create a nice size bouquet.  Below are some pictures I found that either used one or two stems of hydrangea...

Our bridesmaids had bouquet with just two hydrangea stems in them, MOH had 2 also with roses mixed in. I think a single bloom will work out great, they are full enough that it will be "enough". Different types of hydrangea's are different sizes, so just ask you florist how big you can expect the "head" of the flower to be. Here are some pictures from our wedding so you can get an idea of what 2 stems looks like.
