Hello,

I'm a new "knottie" and just got engaged this past weekend.

I wanted to start gathering recs for a photographer for our engagement pics. 

Can you all recommend a few?

    We used Route 1 Multimedia for our engagement photos and had a blast. We're planning on using them for the wedding, as well.

    We used Katie from Lovestruck Images for our engagement photos in Old Town Alexandria.  I can not say enough good things about Katie and Lovestruck Images.  We used a deal off of the WeddingChannel for our pictures and it was well worth the money.  The deal only gave us an hour photo shoot, but Katie let us go over by almost a half hour.  Katie was quick to respond and very easy to work with.  I highly recommend Katie and Lovestruck.

    She's much pricier, though, so I can't afford her.  I'm using my cousin for the engagement photos and I'm starting to interview wedding day photographers today.

    For more of the natural light look, I say Britt Croft Photography or Laura Gordon Photography.
