So I have 4 BMs and FI only has 3 GM. The thing is, right before we got engaged, FIs uncle, who was one of his best friends, tragically passed away. He was going to be one of FI's GM...
I can tell FI doesn't like to talk about it (lack of a GM due to an unexpected death... completely understandable... obviously that is a difficult thing to deal with). So now our sides are uneven, which I am okay with, but he feels they need to be even. He doesn't have any other friends that he feels are close enough to him to make them a GM. I don't want to keep bringing it up since it's a tough topic, but I feel like if he does want to have a 4th GM, they should be told sometime soon... at least by the beginning of the year. What would you do in this situation? Should I try to convince him that its okay for our sides to be uneven (and one guy can walk down with two girls, or we can have the girls walk down by themselves)? Or what...?
