Living in the upper Catskill region I had a difficult time finding a dress shop that carried great quality and well-priced dresses. The sales people at the places I went to were not very helpful, or personable. The Town Shop in Poughkeepsie, NY was entirely different! Not only do they have a fantastic selection of dresses, but they are well priced and they give you a discount on your bridesmaids dresses if you purchase a wedding dress with them. The very BEST part of The Town Shop was one of their sales people, Giovanna. Not only did Giovanna find me the most beautiful wedding dress for my figure, she also made me feel so comfortable. I was nervous about finding the right dress, and Giovanna's competence and kindness gave me confidence that everything would work out. She made finding my wedding dress a WONDERFUL experience. Her fun personality and wealth of knowledge and experience makes her such a great person to have helping. Their seamstress is also incredibly talented, all my allterations were done flawlessly. I definitly recommend The Town Shop, and I HIGHLY recommend you make an appointment with Giovanna!!!
