  Are you staying at the Grand Hotel Paraiso or just Beach? 
  
  My brother was married at Iberostar. Prior to the ceremony, they stayed at Del Mar hotel, where my family stayed and were kids are allowed. It was kind of so-so and I wouldn't stay there again. After the ceremony they upgraded to the Grand Paraiso, which is adults only and way more luxorious.  They've been back since and only stay at the Grand and have said they'd never stay at Del Mar.  I'd consider staying at the Grand Paraiso or upgrading if you're not.
  
  With Iberostar star, each hotel on the resort gives you a certain access level.  With Grand Paraiso, you have the highest access level and can go to any part of any of the hotels on the resort, but others can't come to Grand unless they're staying there

  Fi parents have stayed at El Dorado Royale for years. They go twice a year and have always come back with rave reviews. Only thing is they have a timeshare but Im sure you can book outside of that.
