New to June board - wedding themes?

Hi ladies! I'm new to the boards and I was wondering what the rest of you June brides had planned in the way of themes / decorations / colors. I'm pretty excited about mine - we're going for a light, summery, sweet day. We live in the deep south, so Mason jars and RC colas will be present! And you just can't have RCs without Moon Pies! The colors are pink and white and I'm hoping to get peonies for my flowers. I want the bridesmaids to carry baby's breath and I'm thinking baby's breath to put in Mason jars for the reception decorations. For food, I'm thinking picnic type food - pimento cheese sandwiches (it is the south!), cucumber sandwiches, tons of fresh fruits and veggies, pink lemonade, ice cream, etc ... Oh, and a candy table and to-go boxes for people to take as favors.

Anyways, what about the rest of you ladies? What decoration ideas do y'all have? Colors? Themes? I love the fact that we're getting married in June and the possibilities are endless as far as themes go!

Welcome! Your colors/theme sounds beautiful! Can't wait to get to know you and your wedding better!

Our theme is peacock with our colors being teal/black/white/silver. My BMs and I will have peacock feather hair clips and I'm getting painted shoes from an etsy dealer that will have peacock feather painted on them. Then I'm going to have peacock eyes sprinkled on all the tables for some of the decorations.

We are having a travel themed wedding, as FI and I have both spent a lot of our time on exchanges together. Our colours are sapphire blue and pink, with accents of bright green and white. As for the theme, our invites are going to be boarding passes, our programs are going to be passports, our seating chart is going to be a map of the world, and each table will be named after a place we have been together. We are having an international buffet of sorts for food with things from different places we have been.

Your wedding sounds amazing! I love your theme! Our wedding doesn't so much have a cohesive theme, it's more so just a collection of things that we like. Our colors are navy blue, yellow and gray/white. I will have a white calla lily bouquet and my bridesmaids will have white gerber daisy bouquets. The daisies are going to be incorporated as the flowers in our yet-to-be-determined centerpieces. FI wants to to beer koozies as favors, because he loves him some beer, and I am trying to incorporate other aspects of us into the decorations as well.

Outdoor evening ceremony in southern Virginia. Butterflies and cala lilies are in everything. The BM are in black, FG in dark purple and me in lavender. The guys are wearing black pants, white shirts and purple ties. Buffet dinner with b B q chicken and pot roast, green beans and steamed veggies, salad and rolls. Sweet tea, lemonade, water and soda to drink.

Welcome to the board! Your wedding sounds lovely, the country-chic is one of my favorite wedding looks; that, and modern/sophisticated.

That said, mine is ideally going to be incredibly ethereal and romantic. Both our ceremony and reception are at a castle, so it's very fairy tale themed, though hopefully in a far more sophisticated and adult way than Disney movies. I have a lot of ivy as a nod to Sleeping Beauty, and each table at the reception will be subtly themed, with a story book of an original version of the fairy tale (e.g. The Brothers Grimm, H.C. Anderson). One of the ring bearer's pillows has a porcelain slipper on it, too.

Our colors are plum and gold, and the flowers will be all different shades of purple: lavender hydrangeas, purple stock, lavender roses, purple lisianthus, and possibly also purple carnations.

What else do you have ready? Do you have a dress? Pictures of the dress? We love dresses around here

Welcome! I don't know if our wedding really has a theme but it will be pretty traditional. Traditional Catholic ceremony then traditional 5 hour reception. Definitely will be fun though!

Welcome to the board! My wedding is a Destination wedding, we are getting married in Las Vegas. My colors are black and whites/ivory with accents colors of pink. My BM's are wearing black dresses and will have white gerber daisies bouquets. My bouquet will be pink hydrangeas, light pink garden roses, and ivory roses. Our menu will have all variety of different stations so everyone will get something they like.

Our theme is pretty much summer-y modern. With bright colors. We are incorporating circles into a lot of our elements so that has also kind of become a theme. Our colors are navy and yellow with pops of green. We are having a buffet with meet kabobs and other summer-y picnic items.

Our theme is "Southern Garden Party." We're having our ceremony in our church and then a tented reception at our Alma Mater's Alumni House. Our colors are blush and greens (paler think mints and lambs ear) with subtle slate gray accents. Some unique things we're doing are having a bourbon bar instead of signature drinks, cotton bolls for escort cards and bouts except for FI's, family recipes for favors, and handing out baby coke bottles to all our guests when they enter cocktail hour (something we did during my sorority recruitment).

Welcome!!!!

We don't havea theme to our wedding. Here are some inspiration pics I have saved on this computer.

The colors for my bouquet. They will be roses and there will be some fuchsia in there too.

My girls bouquet but about a 1/4 of this size.

On rectangle tables, though.

We will also have 2 bud vases on either side of the centerpiece going down the runner. We were going to use candles, but changed our venue and they don't allow them, so we replaced them with small bud vases.

I have no clue if we have a theme or not. I guess if I had to pick one, it would be something to do with a garden?

Welcome to the board! Everyone is very helpful here! Also, congratulations!

Our theme is "Modern Pink, Black, & Bling" if that's a theme. My bridesmaids are wearing hot pink and the groomsmen will have silver vests and ties. My bouquet will consist of all white peonies and roses mixed in and my bridesmaids' bouquetes will consist of hydrangea and roses in hot pink and light pink shades mixed together. Our decor is where a lot of the "bling" comes in. We have tons of votive holders that are crystal and rhinestone, our cake will have rhinestone banding on it, we have crystals to spread around on the reception tables, and also rose petals on our cake table. Our cake topper is also all rhinestones in the shape of a letter "D" for our last name. So very sparkly and modern.

Welcome to the board!!! We don't really have a theme. My colors are shades of purple and pink, and silver/gray. Flowers will be roses, calla lillies, orchids, peonies, ranunculuses, with some dusty miller (and curly willow/manzanita branches in the centerpieces). The feel is elegant, unique, and somewhat modern.

Our wedding is soft romantic vintage glam. We're having a soft color palette of light pink, ivory, and champagne. There will be tons of flowers and candles. Our ceremony will be a Catholic Mass followed by our reception at a very unique venue, a mock up of a plantation and its grounds that is all indoor. We'll be incorporating some New Orleans/Southern traditions.

We don't really have a theme. Our colors are royal blue and white, with red and magenta accents. Our flowers are hydrangeas, zinnias and roses. We're keeping the wedding traditional, but fun and adding our own touches.

Welcome to the board! I guess our "theme" is simple, romantic elegance. We are having an outdoor evening wedding with chocolate/champagne as our colors. Our accent color is pink so our flowers will be a variety of pink roses and gerbera daisies. Our reception will be indoors with dim lighting and lots of candlelight.

I don't know that we have a theme either. There are double hearts on lots of things as well as book pages and sheet music. All of my flowers are paper, I'm making the centerpiece flowers, bouts, and corsages myself. Our colors are yellow and green.

Sounds great. I think we are doing a very Jane Austen themed picnic. I wanted it to feel like a summer outing in Early 1800's England

But I am sappy like that. Our colors are yellow and grey with the slightest pink accents
