Day of Planner Prices

Hello ladies!

I`ve met with a day of coordinator and she`wants $1300 for the day. This includes her and an assitant being their for the whole day making sure all the vendures do their jobs and that things run smoothly. Does this price sound about right? It seems a bit expensive to me...

    I paid $1400 for mine, and she was worth every cent!

    I paid $400 for mine and so far, she's been absolutely terrific. She has been more like a full wedding planner than a day of coordinator. I've been working with her since last October and she has far outdone herself. Considering I live out of state, she's really been a God-sent.

    That sounds like an awesome deal! I've been meeting with people that want $4000-$6000 I nearly died. I think anywhere around $1500 range is great- esp if you get her assistant too! May I ask where you found her? Is she located in Boston?

    I can pass along a recommendation for my wedding coordinator - Jennifer Pearl and her assistant Shelby were amazing - The Rare Affair located in Easton, MA I believe, but I live and got married in Salem, MA and she came up here everytime and was very good at communicating with me every step of the way and anytime I had a concern.  They were with me all day and made everything run smoothly.

    Her price was $1400 for the day off, but you get a meeting a month away from the wedding, and basically the week of she was in touch with all my vendors and coordinated the rehearsal dinner the night before and of course the day of.

    She was great at helping me save money any chance she could, and that was really appreciated!

    Wow that seems really expensive.  We hired a day of coordinator and she was about $500 for takign care of everything that day.  And she was *awesome*!  We had like 3 meetings with her before the wedding and she helped me keep on track.  She also saved me by finding me a hair stylist when I had to cancel the woman I booked 2 weeks before the wedding.  I can't recommend her highly enough!  Her name is Christy Kahana and I have a full review in my bio (plus her website).

    We paid $650 for our day of coordinator. We used Jeni Lu of weddingbits. Her and her assistant Dane are amazing. They took care of everything the day of so that we wouldn't stress about it and Jeni called all of our vendors a couple of weeks before our wedding to double check everything. Honestly it was the best money we spent on our wedding. They were fabulous to work with.

    I'm also using Jeni Lu of Weddingbits and she's been great so far.  I would highly recommend her!

    Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU julesbug for recommending Jennifer Pearl- she emailed me back right away, and I was able to meet with her while i was home this wknd. LOVE her! She's great, we're def going to book her. It was so cute I couldn't remember your username but I said your wedding was in Salem and she was like "oh Julesbug"! haha thanks so much for the recommendation she is just what we are looking for:)
