Looking for a good DJ

I am getting married in Spencer, MA at Zuka's Hilltop Barn.  I have already talked with 3 different DJ's but I can't seem to decided which one I want.  I feel like the DJ sets the mood of the wedding.  My fiancee and I want our wedding to be a fun party, not boring and dull.  Can anyone recommend a good DJ that is under $1400?

    The DJ I went with is Dave Pettengil, he did my bestfriend's wedding as well. He was the best dj, kept the party going the whole night, there were no gaps. Just awesome! Here is his website. http://www.djdavepett.com/

    We're using Steve G Productions. He's out of Western MA but I know he travels. We're paying $950 for the ceremony music plus 6 hours of reception music.

    Gary Titus is a great DJ - he is in Canton and travels as well.  I know he can work with your budget.

    We're using Ra-Mu and the Crew and I have nothing but great things to say about him!  Check out his reviews (clicky).  For $1300 we're getting 5 hrs of DJ'ing, free uplighting (yep, free 20 LED uplights), two 42" plasmas that we can do a photo montage or have guests txt messages to and they'll show up on the screen.

    I can't wait for our wedding and to see him in action! We also got a photobooth through him and guestbook for like 1/2 the price other places wanted. GL!

    We used Peter from Groove Entertainment.  He was great.  We got a DJ/Video/Uplighting package.
