Hotel stay: Cosmopolitan then switching to Mandalay Bay
Ceremony: Chapel of the Flowers
Reception: Vista Suite at Mandalay Bay
D.J.: Calvin Duncan DJ Godzilla
Hair/Makeup artist: Lori White
Cake: Las Vegas Custom Cakes
Caterer: Masterpiece Cuisine
Dress: Vera Wang White Collection from David's Bridal
Flight: Southwest

I still need shoes, jewelry, hair flower fascinator, limo service, bartender.

Anyone have advice on comfortable high heels?

My sister is getting married at Chapel of the Flowers this coming Saturday. I will make sure to post some pictures!

I plan on getting married at Chapel of the Flowers in November and my reception will also be at the Vista Suite Mandaylay Bay.

Comfortable heels: I just purchased Nina brand Culver heel. They are very popular. I got Chocolate Brown. 2.5 in heel. They seemed very flexible/bendable.
Recent bride Amandajean(??)  had them in apple green.

I am basically a week behind you! Your planning looks great. I still need transportation as well, and accessories!

August 6th for me -- it's getting close!

    Checks so far:
    Ceremony: Wynn
    Reception: Maggiano's
    DJ: Soulweddings
    Hair/Makeup: Harmony Medina
Cake: Retro -- still need to pick a flavor!
    Flights: Delta
Hotel: Hilton Grand Vacation Resort on the Strip
    Shoes, jewelry, etc.

    Still need to:
    Arrange a rental car
    Get my dress bustled
Pick a song for the mothers and grandmothers to be seated on
    Get a unity candle
Make a seating chart -- waiting until RSVP deadline
    Buy wedding party gifts
Purchase favor boxes, tags and candy

As far as shoes go, I went on Zappos.com and ordered 3-4 pairs. I tried them all on and picked the ones that were the most comfy and stylish and sent the rest back. You can return their shoes for up to a year (as long as you haven't worn them) and they have a pretty good selection. It beat driving all over everywhere to find some shoes -- even if I did lose some dough on the shipping costs, it was worth it for the peace of mind and time saved. Just a thought.

Also, DSW usually has a decent selection if you can get to one.

    :-)

ooohh, I'm getting married that Thursday!  Isn't it exciting/nerve wracking??!!

Everytime I think I'm close to done, I remember something else I'm missing :(

    My Checks:
    Hotel stay: Mandalay Bay
    Ceremony: Valley of the Falls
    Reception: Maggiano's Little Italy
    D.J.: All Night Long Entertainment
Favor: Premiere Photobooth / Buri Fans
    Hair/Makeup artist: Harmony Medina
Dress: Oleg Cassini from David's Bridal

MY accessorries - shoes (with a penny in it - bought 8 months ago so I had a lot of time to break those babies in), jewelry (something new), veil (something borrowed)

    Still Missing:

Little things: flower girl basket, ring bearer pillow, sand ceremony set, d.i.y      programs

    Good luck!!

Not an Aug. bride but just wanted to say can't wait til your wedding/reviews, as we have a lot of the same vendors, in bold!  But we're doing L, not Vista, but still.  Check out my bio for shoes, they are by RSVP and they have these foot petal things in them that make them seem very comfortable, guessing other styles by them would be just as comfortable too!
