Mystic tan

I'm getting married next month and considering getting a mystic tan to get a little bit of color and even out my skin tone. I've never had one before and I'm nervous that I will turn orange. Any suggestions from anyone that has gotten one or any great places to go in Raleigh?
Also, how soon should you get one before the wedding?

I've never gotten one either, so sorry I don't know where to tell you to go.  But if I were you, I'd get one now, like, tomorrow.  That way you'll have a good test run and if you hate it, you've got some time before the wedding.

I've heard great things, and horrible things.   Be sure to exfoliate before you go :)

I've only done it once, but I didn't turn orange at all. I did get reaaally tan though, but I already had a pretty big base tan beforehand as it was. (It was a free promo) Just make sure if you go that you use lots of the lotion on your dry areas, Hands, elbows, knees, etc. The only real downfall was that I smelled BAD afterwards. I could even still smell it on me the next day and faintly for the day after that. So plan ahead. All in all it wasn't too bad of an experience besides the smell. I went to Palm Beach Tan and they were great!

I would suggest going to one very soon like someone else said and seeing how it does.  If you are pretty fair skinned just get the most basic thing, because you will still get a lot of color.  If it ends up looking good, then I would suggest going another time about a week to a week and a half before your wedding and then again 3 days before.  This is what I did and in my experience the tan looks good about 3-4 days after it is done.  You are still tan, but not overly tan.  I really would go now though and get used to the process.

I did one before my sister's wedding last year and am extremely fair skinned (we were wearing black BM dresses...) and I did the customized option (whatever it's called -- where it sprays from multiple directions and not just front and back) and skipped on the bronzer to not make me overly dark and the color way fine.  I did it the Wednesday before her wedding any my color was fine through the weekend.
It does stink.  They can add a scent to it to make it smell better and I know the Palm Beach Tan in Austin does.. I also went to the one in Raleigh when I was at NCSU and they were good too.

I am getting married next week, and I had horrible hat, glasses, shirt tan lines for shooting so many baseball games this summer.  I started using that Jerkins toning lotion and that has worked great!  it;s $8 a bottle, but I think it is so worth it.  I put it on at least once a day for the last 3 weeks, and now I have this nice even tone with just a little color and glow.  I couldn't be happier with it.

Mystic tan didn't work for me.  I recommend to go to a spray tan artist.  I live in Wilmington so I don't have a reccomendation.  There is just something about having a person do it that way no spots are missed.  (I wear a black strapless bra and panties and have them spray around that.)
