Out of state bride.. getting married in atl area

Good day all. Im an out of state bride, from LA. My husband to be is from DC. Majority of my family relocated to ATL 10 years ago while I was in school and my FI and I decided that we will move to ATL when we get married, and to make it easy on family- we will get married in ATL. Im terrified because I have no idea where to start. All the venues seem to not allow outside catering (we are nigerian, and therefore will be having our own type of food-). Anyone here no a place we can start looking. All inclusive would be great (minus food).

We are kinda on a budget 20k for 150-215ppl. I will be the DIY queen. I am blessed with 4 little sistrs that all live in atl.. they will be my minions..lol.

My fam lives in stockbridge- so anywhere a decent drive from there would be great. God bless.

These are all great locations.....HOWEVER they are not central to Stockbridge at all. How far do you want to be from stockbridge (timewise)? If you don't care about distance than The Old Courthouse on the Square is one of my favorite venues in the city......it was just outside of what I wanted to pay for venue rental when you basically have to bring everything else in. I'm a WP also, so I have a list of venues that could work for you it all just depends on what type of feel you want.

  • The Pristine Chapel in Jonesboro is close to Stockbridge and very nice; however, I'm pretty sure that you would have to use their in-house caterer.
