Any suggestions on harpist or stringed quartet??

We are getting married at Loose Park and would like to have either a harpist or stringed quartet/trio/due play.  I have looked and found a few online, but wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations.

THanks for your help!!!!!!

We're using the Helios String Quartet (http://www.heliosquartetkc.com/). We are actually getting a trio - they are flexible. I haven't heard them play (aside from recordings online), but they came highly recommended to me by my day-of coordinator. My contact is Laurel, and she has been very responsive and great to work work with.

I haven't booked them yet, but I've been corresponding with Fontana (www.triofontana.com).

I have an e-mail from them full of general info from them if you'd like it, or you can message them and they'll send you one! :-)

I am using Serenade.  The website is www.serenadekc.com. They have a string quartet as well as trio and duo options which can also include a flute.

I don't know if this would cause a problem in your location, but I believe that they request to sit under a roof or overhang in case of rain or extreme sun.

Hey!! we are getting married at Loose Park too!!  I am using students from UMKC conservatory.  I can give you the girls email...they are only charging us $100 per person.  I think we will just have a duo, so only $200!  not bad!! P.S.  When is your date?  I am June 26th!!!

That would be great, I would love to help out college students!! THANKS!
Our wedding is Sept 4 in the Rose Garden.  Are you doing any extra decorations at the garden?

hey sorry it took me so long to get back with you!  Her email is lewfz9@mail.umkc.edu and her name is Lauren.
I don't think I am going to mess with any extra decorations.  Since we can't have an isle runner, I may line my end chairs with pomanders or just make an isle with rose petals.  I did find this pic, and it could be cool to have haging in the alter arch area:

Are you planning to decorate at all?  Where is your reception?

We are using Brookside Strings for our wedding.  You can customize how many and what type of musicians you would like and they have been great to work with so far.  We have heard them perform at both our church and at the Plaza Art Fair so we are excited for them to be at our wedding.

Greetings all! There are several reliable wedding harpist professionals in Kansas City, of which I like to think I am one. Here are the links for several of us.

Good luck in finding the perfect music for your ceremony!
