I'm sooo excited. We've been going at this venue search really hard the last week and a half, because for some reason, April next year seems to be really popular with St. Louis brides! As a result, many of the venues I was interested in were already booked on our day (28th). But lastnight we had another appt with a local hotel/casino and finally decided to pull the trigger and book their "Imagination" Ballroom. When we got engaged, I said NO to ballrooms b/c the decor is usually dated and too cookie-cutter. But luckily, this hotel/ballroom is decorated in modern contemporary decor, and their food/drink options are ridiculously flexible and delicious. And I think our out of town guests will really get a kick out of the casino and restaurant/bar village downstairs. You have no idea how happy I am to check this off the list! =P
