Photography approx 2000-2500

I am getting married at the the towers next summer but a planning from San Diego. I'd love some opinions on photography...I am a second shooter myself and am struggling to find affordable, quality photography. I'm interested in 6-8 hours of coverage and a disc of hi resolution images. Thanks for the help!

Her prices were the most reasonable ones I could find and she's a really great person. The minute we met I knew I was going to like her, and that was really important to me in choosing a photographer. I personally think a photographer is one of the most important people at the wedding, because when it's all said and done, your photos and memories are all you have left of the day (except for a wonderful new spouse of course :-) ) and you don't want crappy, out of focus pics. But I felt that Jaime really connected with the vision I was going for with my wedding. We've only done engagement photos so far, but they all came out wonderful. She doesn't require you to purchase an album, and she gives you a disc with all your photos on it and the copyright to it. She takes unlimited amounts of photos and gives you them all. She also has another photographer who she works with if you want 2 photographers at your wedding. We hired him for the First Look photos, the ceremony and the family formal photos and I think it cost us an additional $100/hr for him. Good luck on your search!

Check out Olivia Gird. She is shooting my wedding in October, so I can't tell you too much. We loved her photos and loved her when we met her.

I am using Valentino Photography. Their prices are right in that range and they include a cd with high res discs. 8 hrs of photography and an album.

We were going to use Brad Ayres until a friend of FI offered to do everything for free. Brad is great, he has a second shooter and both of them split between the bride and groom for the entire day for right around $2000. Hie gives you a disc with all your pics which are beautiful and for a couple hundred more makes you an unbelievable leather book with its own velvet carrying case. That is what really sold me on him, it's unlike any others I've seen. He's very laid back and easy to get along with and will also do epics. I would highly recommend him. If FI's friend doesn't work out we're definitely using Brad.

Check out Monika Rose Photography, she falls below that price range. She was a third shooter at my wedding and was absolutely ah-mazing!

Memories RI is a little more than your budget, but I can't say enough good things about them. They just raised their prices, but for about $3400 I got 4 shooters for video and photo, along with a photo album. Chris and Amanda are married and have a really fun time with you, they are professional, but they want to make sure you have a good time. They do a lot with lighting and play around with the background, but the pictures speak for themselves. Being a photog yourself, they may be willing to work with a certain budget, I know we cut out the engagement shoot to save some money and they also discounted us for a Friday wedding and booking photo/video together.

Ruha Devanesan will provide photography and videography within that budget AND will let you keep CD and have rights to al photos AND will probably print a bunch of prints for that price range.
