  It IS a no-no!  They can go in a shower invitation, but NOT a wedding invitation.  You can include the address of a wedding website on your wedding invites, and put the registry information on your website.  (If you don't have a website, you can always throw one together on weebly very easily!)  Putting registry info on an invitation implies that you're expecting gifts, which you should not.

  There's no way to word something that shouldn't be worded.

  You shouldn't really have anything to do with your shower invites.  If your registry information wasn't on the shower invite, people will ask the shower hosts or do a search for where you're registered.  Nothing about registry information goes in the wedding invitations.

  Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married.   Please read the actual post and subject BEFORE you attempt to answer the question.
  
  Our groomsmen realized what happened and asked me how it should be worded. What am I supposed to do? Say, "I'm not allowed to have anything to do with this?" No. That would be really rude. I thought I would come here and ask the question, relay the information to them and be done with it.
  
  So for the people that said that this can be done with a SHOWER invitation, how would you suggest I go about doing this?

  The way it was worded in your OP, made it sound like the shower invites went out without the registry info, so you wanted to include it in your wedding invites.  If the shower invites haven't gone out yet and you're looking for wording for those, I would just put on the business card "John and Jane are registered at ABC Store."  Just keep it simple.

  <div>Above is always the best approach.  Have registry info on a wedding website.  If you don't want a website, you can add a card that says something simple about where you're registered, since a shower is a gift-giving party.</div>

  Thank you. I appreciate that. I apologize for my "behavior."  I could have explained it better, I just didn't feel that it was necessary. They asked me to how to fix this because they realized their error and my fiance registered at a store just for him, since this is "his" shower. I had the printable business cards leftover from our Save the Dates (we put the hotel info on them.) Normally I wouldn't care, but this is for him and they wanted to fix it for their friend. I know this is "not my job" but I'm the only one with a knot page and google failed them. Thanks girls!

  Walmart
  
  or whatever the store(s) may be.
