All attendants are to be dressed and ready at the church by 12:30 ( that way hopefully everyone will be ready by 1:00 when my photographer arrives.)
Pre wedding photos are starting at 1:00. We are not doing a first look session. We are taking pictures me with my BM and FI with his GM.
We are not doing a receiving line, so at 2:35 we are doing post wedding photos. At 3:00 we will be done and head to the reception. When we get there we will take a few out side because the reception site is very pretty. We will do first dance ( photos) at 3:15
Through out the night my wedding planner has time out all the important photo points, like dances, cake cutting, toast, etc... so everything will get done while my photographer is there.
Our photographers will be there throughout the entire event, so these are the main things they'll be capturing.
Wedding at 1pm, cocktail hour starts at 4:30, dinner served at 6.
7:30am: hair and makeup starts
10:30am: photographers arrive at my house where we are getting ready - they'll take "getting dressed" shots and then portraits of myself, bridesmaids, and my parents.
11:30am: photographers head to church to photograph FI, groomsmen, and his family
12:15pm: bride, bride family, bridesmaids arrive at church.
1-2: ceremony
2:15-2:30: family photos in church
2:30-5:15: bride and groom photos, bridal party photos at various locations
5:30: bridal party and bride/groom arrive at reception.
5:35 bridal party/bride and groom announced
5:40 cake cutting
5:45: first dance
6-7 dinner
7:05: father/daughter dance
7:10: mother/son dance
7:15-12am: open dancing, with root beer floats, french fries, sliders, and cookies served at 10:30pm.
I just gave my photog the chunks of time we have set aside for pics and lettering her figure out her specific timeline. That's what I'm paying her for...
Wedding starts at 4, we're starting our pics at 2, being done by 3:30 for me to go back in hiding. First look first, and then WP pics. After the ceremony we'll have family pics.
We're doing our first look and WP pictures before the ceremony.
First look - 3pm followed by individual pictures of us and pics of us together WP pics at 4 or 4:30 (waiting for confirmation from a few BMs still) A bit of down time Ceremony at 6 Family pics about 6:20 - 6:45
I think it is great that you all have photography outlines figured out already. I just messaged my photographer asking her to prepare an outline. I am getting married in 20 days and she had not even mentioned all the times for different sets of photos. I am very thankful for this discussion posting!
