Bachlorette party in AC..... recommendations?

has anyone been to a bachlorette party in AC? What do you recommened people do or dont do. i was thinking the Harrahs pool party? has anyone ever been?

also is it difficult to sneak an extra person in the room to save money on getting additional rooms. do the hotel staff really check that theres only a max of 4 people per room?

  • Harrahs Pool is pretty cool..if you want a really great experience get table/bottle service.  I don't think the casinos down there are super strict about how many people are staying in the rooms....just don't be stupid and make tons of noise and attract attention to yourselves.

And rule #1...don't do anything you don't want to explain to the paramedics.  We have really big needles if you get out of control LOL Cool

  • My bach party was in AC 2 years ago but I live there practically and there a lot!  The pool is cool...be prepared for at least a $20 cover fee to get in on a sat night.  The rooms on that side of Harrahs are really nice and newer.

If you get bored of Harrahs, youre close to borgata so you jump in a cab and head down the street there where theres mur.mur and the mixx which are both smaller night clubs.

If you may want to walk instead, stick to the boardwalk hotels...Revel is really nice and has great rooms!  HQ night club is fun, so is the social (if you want something more laid back).  Next door is showboat with foundation room which was a ton of fun for my friends bach party a few months ago.  Further down the boardwalk is Chelsea which has a great place on the 5th floor and then theres the trop which has a TON of places to roam around party at (everyone from nightclubs (providence) to an ice bar (red square), a dive bar (dam good sports bar), irish pub with great cover bands (rira), and tons of other places to hit up!

And as long as only you check in for the room and your friends are no where near you when you do so, you should be fine to sneak people into the room.  They only need one room key to enter the elevator area to get up to the rooms and dont care how many follow you.

And sign up for the casino rewards.  sometimes they get you deals at restaurants/clubs/parking.  I know at trop thats the case at least!

  • I had my bachlorette party in AC this past January. It was great. We had dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse then went to Bally's Wild Wild West, and then to Ceasers and to Dusk. It was a lot of fun. The next day we went to the spa at Bally's and dinner at the Melting Pot. I had a blast.

  • Trop is the only one that is strict with the number of people in the room.  They have a new(er) policy that everyone has to show a room key to get into the elevator.  (I work for a reservation service in AC)

  • AC is great to have a bachelorette party! We live 10minutes from AC and I have worked in the casinos. Tropicana or revel are great! trop is good because you have restaurants, bars and clubs all right in "The Quarter". Revel is great because its new and has a lot to choose from!!
