Milwaukee Alterations

Hi ladies, I'm getting married in Vegas, but everything dress related is happening here.

Any good or bad reviews for alterations in the Milwaukee area?
Becky and Caron are on my list, but I'd like thoughts on them, plus any others I should consider.

PS- I did search and read some posts, but figured I'd ask if anyone has more recent reviews.

I highly recommend Capital Cleaners in Pewaukee. She does a fabulous job on everything she alters.

I HIGHLY recommend Carol of Fig Leaf.

She was AMAZING - totally renovated my entire dress and did it all for $150!! (I mean, she put in the bustle and did all the normal alterations AND took apart the entire back if the dress/zipper/everything and put in a corset back)

I sent my entire bridal party and MIL there and they all raved about her.

She is amazing!  And she will store your dress until the wedding.

She runs the business out of her home and it's out on Hwy 20 towards Waterford/Dover. (if you hit the Dover Inn coming from the East, you've gone too far)

I highly recommend her.  I just felt so comfortable with her and she had some really good suggestions.

I have heard rave reviews about Janie w/ "Weddings by Janie" - she does really amazing headpieces, handbags plus alterations. I don't have her contact # but you can contact Terri w/ Glitz Wedding Planning (www.glitzllc.com or https://www.facebook.com/pages/Glitz/198502836829327) and she can get you the contact info.
  •  I was told my dress would be ready in 3 weeks...it took 5 weeks and it was not ready until the monday before my wedding. When I tried my dress on it was not altered right at the corset and the busle was not corrrect. I had to take off work early the following day to get my dress, which still was not how I wanted it but since my wedding was 5 days away I didnt have a choice. My mom had her dress done as well. It was altered so tight my mom could not pull it up above her hips to use the bathroom. Although it is a cheap price, would rather of gone somewhere more reliable.
