Winter theme in June?

wondering if its stupid or kinda unique. was going to get married this december but pushed it back for reasons of me quitting my horrific job. i really love the wintery theme. it is an inside venue would it be corny to do a wintery theme in june for a wedding or alright? thanks ladies :)

Re: Winter theme in June?

  • Some people would probably say no it doesn't fit the time of the year but in the end it's your wedding and you should do what will make you happiest. I think there's ways you could do incorporate the feel of a winery style without being over the top making it seem out of season.

  • I say go for it. It's your wedding and should be what you want. I personally love non traditional weddings and think a wintery one in July would be cool to attend!

  • ya i deffintely dont wanna over do it. my only wintery thing i really want is snowflakes, its subtle and pretty. here in indiana its hot and im having my wedding indoors so it would be kind of refreshing  to walk into a chill wedding lol.
  • I think it's a great idea. It's your wedding and if that's what you want then do it. Plus I think it would be pretty cool to walk into a winter wonderland after being outside in the heat.

  • I agree with everyone! If it's just the snowflakes I think it will be super cute! Maybe you can also incorporate them into your or your BP's accessories?

  • I'm sorry, I have to agree with mrskaiser. I think I would personally find it a little strange, however, it *would* be unique.
