Is anyone else having a problem with this?

I just passed the one year out mark (June 2, 2013 wedding), and am all of a sudden really nervous that I don't have enough time to do everything.
I have been lurking around and reading and researching, but feel like I don't have all the necessary ideas and information to do what needs to be done.
We are on a budget as it is a second wedding, and I still support three kids......so I have a lot of DIY projects that I have been doing, and it's been reassuring to tell myself that I have lots of time, but all of a sudden, i just don't feel that way anymore. I feel like time is going to fly now, and I don't know if I can keep up.
Anyone else going through this?

    Yes! I am on a tight budget as my FI just graduated and doesn't have a job yet.. I am more worried about not having enough time to save up for the wedding nor enough time to figure out what vendors I am comfortable with.. people keep telling me that the time is going to fly by and all I can this is "oh god I hope not" Surprised

    I totally understand how you feel, even though we have a few things booked already, the first 6 months of my engagement flew by, so I think this year will flow by even faster! But I think you still have plenty of time for planning, especially if you are going to DIY a lot! I would just start by researching the big things (venue, food) and going from there! Good luck and feel free to ask around, everyone is super helpful on here!!!

    I definitely understand how you feel. FI and I have been engaged for 10 months, and it feels like we just got engaged yesterday. I would take your projects 1 or 2 things at a time. I am really not DIYing anything. I am just not crafty, so I give you a lot of credit!

    I just had a mini panic attack today when I was filling out my calendar with all the things I need to get done in the next 6 months. We have been engaged for 13 months already and I feel like I havrn't done anything. I keep telling myself that I have a lot of time left but it just hit me today how quickly the next 12 months are going to go!

    Luckily no I have not had this feeling at all. Luckily I have a venue that is pretty much doing it all. To be honest I'm really not all that picky and my whole thought process is to enjoy it and not stress. So even though my FI jokes about how much time we have left and how much I have done it's a good thing. I'm not going to sweat the small stuff. Besides I'm getting enough stress from my job the wedding planning is a nice distraction from that chaos.

    I've freaked out over this as well. We've been engaged since last August, and I remember being like "Oh, I have all the time in the world to do all this stuff...look at me, I'm the care-free bride-to-be...lalala". And now, I'm finding myself freaking out over all the stuff I have to do between now and then.

    I'm super nervous as well. We already had to push our wedding back because of financial reasons (FI couldn't find a job for 4 months after he moved here) and now I'm still unsure if everything will end up coming together. I think I will try to DIY as much as I can. Plus, we're really fortunate that we live in an area that has a lot more budget friendly options for venues and what not. We haven't booked anything yet, but we have solid preferences so I'm hoping everything can really start coming together in the next couple of months.
