sooo is anyone doing an afternoon wedding? and how do you pull it off?

How do you mean, pull it off? Like, a timeline? We're considering a brunch reception. What time are you thinking?

We're planning to do an afternoon wedding. I HATE the time between the ceremony and reception because most of the wedding I've been to, it's been a two-three hour wait. So we are getting married probably around 4-4:30pm with cocktails afterward followed by dinner.

Also we're doing this because I have the venue to myself from 9am that morning so that way I get some time to organize myself and any last minute details - plus my fiance wants to play a round of golf (it's a golf club) in the morning with his dad, brothers and groomsmen.

we are having a afternoon wedding to start 1:30 2:15 -3:15cocktails while we do pictures3:15 lunch buffet bet 6 and 6:30 we should be finish trying to decide whether to do alcohol or not.
