Tattoo Cover-Up - Airbrushing

Anyone have any recommendations on where to go in the western Philly suburb area for tattoo airbrushing cover-up?  I have a tattoo between my shoulders that I would like covered for my wedding.  Does airbrushing a tattoo even work or does it just make it look like a bruise?

And yes, I understand that I don't NEED to cover it.  I WANT to cover it because I want my dress to be the focus, not my tattoo.

Re: Tattoo Cover-Up - Airbrushing

  • I've never heard of the airbrush coverup, but I've heard from others that the Kat Von D brand of tattoo coverup available at Sephora works really, really well.
  • I have heard good things about cover up as well.  I would test the make up yourself first and see how it looks!

  • I haven't heard of airbrush makeup to cover tattoos,  I'm sure some of it can, but I'm not sure.  I would call some place like Dylan Cosmetics, which does airbrushing all the time, and ask them if they can do airbrush to cover a tattoo.

I have only used Dermablend.  I will say that it takes a lot of finesse to cover a tattoo with Dermblend, and you have to use A LOT of makeup to fully cover it up.  And most of the time, you need to mix colors together in order to get a good match.
