NWR: Weight loss

So, I decided (after some research) that I am going to sign up for Weight Watchers on Saturday. I think that this will help me with my lack of motivation and help me to get to my weight loss goal of 25-30 lbs.

Oh, and Weight Watchers came up as the 3rd best overall diet.

  • That's great!!
I will say, that Weight Watchers is going to be hard work, but if you're willing to do it, then more power to you!
WW reteaches your body how to consume food and reteaches your brina what you need vs want.

You're my hero. lol. I have been saying I am going to do this for months and haven't.

  • That's great. I have heard great things about WW! Good luck.

How much does WW cost per month?

  • I am a HUGE fan of WW. I lost right over 50 lbs on WW and have been able to keep it off for 4 years now. I feel it is one of the best "diets" out there and I hate to use the word diet because it's a lifestyle change and you are not restricted on what you can and cant eat. Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

  • I did WW 2 years ago and lost about 40 lbs in 6 months. I thought I could continue on my own, and in these two years I gained 5 lbs back. I re-signed up for it yesterday.

Costwise- they're running a "free sign up" campaign with a 3 month membership for $57ish. After the 3 months its $18 a month and you can cancel any time.

This is what I am going to do. I was debating just doing it online, but I think I need the face-to-face meetings as well.

  • Yay!  I am a lifetime member as well!  I gained the freshman 15 (+about 10 more lbs)oops....so that is when I first signed up.  I am about 15lbs up from my goal weight and I went back on NYE to get back on track.  This Saturday is my first week's weigh in and I think I will lose about 3ish lbs!

Seriously though it is a great lifestyle change (in my opinion) and it actually works if you follow through!

    That is awesome!

I signed up for the monthly pass and then I got free access to the etools online.  I was able to download the WW app on my phone and it is great to use.  Easy to look up food points, and track my daily progress.  I would highly suggest looking into that too :)

</div><div>Thanks.  I am generally a good eater - yesterday I was at my points even after I ate breakfast and lunch...but next time I will skip the avacado on my salad - that was 10 of my 29 points!
