I'm usually a lurker but I had to share this story with you all since I knew you'd probably understand. I had my shower this weekend and while everything was absolutely lovely, I broke a piece of my china. Ugh. I was so excited to open it up and show people that when I tilted the box, out rolled the teacup. Everyone was extremely understanding and the event manager at the restaurant assured me that it happens more than people would ever imagine.
But phew. I think my hands shook for the next four or five gift openings. It's gotta be good luck somewhere, right?
Hope all the other showers this weekend went off without a hitch (or broken teacup)!
