XP: Critique my programs

These are going to be turned into fan programs folded in half and on popsicle sticks with golf pencils.. Thoughts?

Re: XP: Critique my programs

  • I'm a little confused on how these will be put together - are they two separate "fans"? I can't figure out how they'd be folded in half when there isn't a clear center division between panels on either one.

I think the wording is all okay for the first part- I'd maybe add a little bit of information on the ceremony itself. I'm personally not a fan of games or anything on programs. To me, the ceremony is the only "entertainment" necessary.

Also, there are a lot of colors going on. I'd try to narrow it down to a single color scheme.
  • One's the front half and one's the back half.

The games are for while they are waiting for it to start and for during cocktail hour.. and if they want to let the kiddos do it during the ceremony, so be it!  Hahaha..
  • Gotcha, I was confused when you said they would be folded in half.

I mean I understand that they'd have the games while they're waiting, but it just seems like that would be a better idea for during cocktail hour only - maybe have a few baskets of them set out during that time rather than having them attached to the program? If I were at a wedding that included games on the ceremony program, I'd tend to think the bride and groom didn't take the ceremony seriously - that might not be what everyone thinks, but that's the impression I get.

I would still narrow down a single color scheme, and maybe narrow down your graphic choices. The flowers are great, then there are the bells, silhouettes, etc. It just looks a bit jumbled.

    Hope that helps :)
