Triad Area Planners?

Can anyone recommend a good wedding planner in or around the Triad area?

I feel like less of a bride for looking for a wedding planner, but I'm working full time and finishing grad school and I feel like it would be a huuuge weight off my shoulders if we had someone to hold our hands through the process :)

    Tia McLaurin at The Perfect Plan is wonderful to work with!  She always responds promptly and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is covered and running smoothly from the very beginning.  I read about her on a TK board and I'm so glad I came across that recommendation.  I live and am getting married in Charlotte, and her pricing package was much better than local planners, even with travel expenses.

    Yes, Heather Persinger is one of the best I've ever worked with as a wedding photographer. She communicates well and is on top of things every minute. I recommend her to anyone that asks.

    save yourself the money.   just go to their blog and see the vendors they use.  same ones time after time.  if you like those vendors cut the middle man out.  that's what i did.

    it's your wedding and it should not look like everyone else's wedding.

    Andrea -- If I had more time on my hands I would love to do more myself, but unfortunately I can't and don't have a lot of people local to help me with things. If I love my wedding, I don't see why it matters if it has the same vendors or even the same feel as someone else's.

    I just got married in December and used Tia at the Perfect Plan. in one word...AMAZING! I'm a full time grad student but still wanted to plan most of our wedding. Tia was incredible and helped us throughout the whole process. She does not suggest vendors that she uses regularly (i've never even heard of this) so trust me, your wedding will be your own :) Give her a call!! it's well worth it...not to mention she's super cheap compared to other planners I looked in to. By far the best money we spent on the wedding!! PM me for more info if you want :)
