bridesmaid gifts?

I was hoping I could get some opinions on this issue. I bought all five bridesmaids their dresses which were $225. I am planning on buying my sister , the MOH a present thanking her for the shower and bachelorette party. Do I still need to buy the others presents. I just don't have a ny good ideas.

I would still get them some sort of thank you gift. It doesn't need to be expensive, just something to show your appreciation.

No, I think you've given them a great gift. Maybe a card to thank them for everything, but you don't have to buy them anything. I know I personally would rather have my dress paid for than some knick-knack I'll never use.

I think a nice card would be plenty. If you wanted to get them a token gift that you think they'd like (perhaps a gift card to their favorite store, or a piece of jewelry you know they'd wear), then that would be fine, but not necessary if it's not in your budget.

At the very least, I would write each of them a heartfelt note as a thanks for being in your wedding and for their friendship.

I think I would also give them each a little something in addition to the note, but not something expensive. Maybe a $10 gift card to Starbucks or iTunes, a funny keychain, a book you know they'd like, a bottle of their favorite wine or a box of nice chocolates, etc.

I think a nice card really letting them know how much it means to you to have them standing up with you would be fine. You can add some inexpensive little thing if you want a physical gift as well. Mbcdefg has some good ideas, or I'd include something from an inside joke or that has history for the two of you.

Thanks for the ideas. I want to get them something small, i just don't know what that will be yet. I will definiely write them all thank you cards as well.

I would still buy them something small like a compact with their initials on them.

I'd still do a little something. It's great that you bought the dresses however they are still benefiting you. Give them something that they can use/see after the wedding that doesn't require a formal event.
