Thanks Sarack! I am helping my friend. She doesnt want to buy online though, she would feel more comfortable buying in person so she can acutally see the flowers. Thank you though!!!

I just ordered 12 dozen garden roses from wholeblossom.com, but I am supplementing with Pike Place too.

If you get a business license or know someone who has one, definitely check out Lake Union Wholesale Florist in Seattle. They are extremely helpful and they can order in almost any flower in many colors.

FIe has decided not to go with Costco because apparently it's not actually that great a deal.

The wholesalers that require a business license are totally the way to go if you can finagle it.

We did our flowers for the CP from Pike Market. I went the weekend before and found a vendor who had iris in the light blue that I wanted. I gave her my contact info and that I wanted 4 dozen to pick up on what date. On that date, she had them ready and I bought them. Then I went and looked at all the other flower vendors and just bought flowers in the colors I wanted (blues, purples, white, and some light pink for pop). Just bring cash, and a friend or two, and some buckets to put the flowers in (trust me, makes it SO much easier to carry it all). I spent about $125, got lovely flowers, liked the more eco of buying at the market from local growers rather than all that carbon from mail order. The only reason I pre-ordered was to guarantee the one flower I had to have. Our theme was a loose garden look so it worked perfectly.
