Checks - Finally Making Progress!

This past Saturday we went for our tasting!!  We had the opportunity to taste seven amazing chicken dishes - they were all so good.  Our favorite though was the Chicken Italiano, it was light and full of flavor.  We also were fortunate enough to have the chef sit with us and assist in creating the menu!  We are smart enough to know that when a chef gets to cook his favorites the meal will be superb.

On Friday I got my navy blue shoes!! The FI made a rather cute but large campaign for the shoes now sitting in our closet.  He liked them and he made sure that he wasn't shorter than me when I tried them on. So we have been making progress.  We also got his daughter's shoes at the same time, which actuallly saved us money! Yay!

And today the invitations go out!! 

Still nothing from the Marketing Director about the blog agreement or the veil...Oh well.

    *** GASP ***  Seriously???  Dun, dun, dun .... OMG!  You're <em>that </em>close?  Wow!  I hope you thought to take a photo of one of the envelopes.  I'd really love to see your calligraphy!

    I didn't end up doing calligraphy - using a fountain pen was faster and looked nice as well.  If you want I can write out something for you in my calligraphy...
