I have having black bridesmaid dresses in May and I am stuck on what color/kind of flowers to have... I am not a hot pink type and am undecided if white flowers will be too boring... help!
Black was my second choice color scheme and I was going to do red roses. If pink is one of your colors, blush pink would also be very pretty. Basically, you can't go wrong with black.
I'm leaning more and more towards the link below myself. It's a very soft, blush pink. Our colors are black and white with silver accents, so we don't have much "color" but I thought this would be a soft touch.
We're doing black dresses in July..this is my photo inspiration:
And I know you said you don't like pink..and honestly I'm not a pink person either..but I think that's kinda why I'm interested in it for our wedding!! lol..So the only thing I'm planning on doing pink is my bouquet. I think people will be surprised to see it but it's gonna look sweet with the green and white bridesmaid bouquets:
black and white looks great together it's a stark contrast but very impactful. another option is pretty pastel flowers, in soft spring colors, still a lot of impact but maybe a bit softer
I agree that white is fine. You could always do light pastel also, or something like fire and ice roses (mostly white, with tinted edges) if you wanted some color but liked the white....thats what I am using in my bridal bouquet. Or do mostly white with some pastel flowers mixed in?
Unless your whole wedding is black and white, I think you should bring in color, either pastels or brights. Black is great any time of year, but it would probably look a little stark for spring without color to soften it.
Have you thought about using yellow flowers? For my best friend's wedding all us bridesmaids work black ball gown style dresses and we carried sunflower boquets...the bride loves sunflowers.....they gave a nice compliment without too much contrast like white flowers would give. You could also try maybe yellow roses, yellow daisys, etc...

ANY color flowers will look great with black and white.
I think a softer pink or light blue would look simple and elegant, or if you want a bolder pop of color, bright green is a fresh, spring/summer, contemporary look.
My daughter is also doing black and white in June but adding soft pops of pink and green. Rather than add color, she is adding texture and pattern to her flowers...

Is this a day wedding or night?
Add some bling if it is a night wedding!
Day.....should be soft and simple for spring!
