Hi Steph!

I was just wondering myself if anyone is KU yet... not me. We'll start thinking about it once we're in a house instead of our little apartment, and that won't be for another couple of years. Have you guys been thinking about it yet? How's your house treating you?

Oh, happy almost 1 year anniversary! 11/7, right? Mine's 11/6. Any plans to celebrate?

Not us either (although I think we're the only ones who aren't KU from the 11/10 board.) The house is good! It's a lot of work though, but we're enjoying it. There are pictures and updates in my blog (in my sig) if you want to see

We have thought about kids. I think the plan is 2-3 years now. We want to pay off our CCs (not much) and save up some more before we have kids. It's nice to have a goal though!

Yup! We're 11/7

One of H's friends is getting married that weekend in Milwaukee, so we deicded to make a mini-vacation out of the trip. We found a fancy hotel and we'll splurge on a nice dinner one night.

Seriously. Where is everyone?

I'm Married!! Almost 2 weeks now of marital bliss hahaha.

And no, not knocked up yet.

Kinda sorta starting to look at houses. We have a lease until next July. So we're now just trying to pull together a HM for next spring. Maybe Greece or Costa Rica...or Aruba...idk.

P.S Is I Want Cake still around? Haven't heard from her in awhile, not since she broke the news she was having twins! :0)

The board has been really quiet lately... I think everyone went and got married and disappeared!

Steph, I cannot believe you're coming up on a year! I remember thinking how awesome your wedding was and how I couldn't wait for my wedding to have the awesome fall feel your's did... and now I'm 17 days away and just finishing up last minute things.

There haven't been any GTG since I think the hair/make-up one that you threw.
Not knocked up yet either! We need to wait until FH gets off of his chemo and we have a non rental place to live!

We move into a georgous townhouse in Edina in 20 days - 3 days after the wedding, I feel like I'm going crazy!!!

How are you doing? Once you lfe we were busy around the boards, then everyone disappeared! I'm to blame just as much!

Oh my gosh, I forgot that IWC is having twins!! I wonder how she is doing.

Beka (I think that is how its spelled, I will feel bad if its not) is pregly too. She is due in December. She still pops over every once and a while.

Ha. As long as I exist on TK, I doubt IWC will be posting here. I called her out on some asinine stuff like a year ago and she's still holding a grudge. She does, however, post on her club board I think. (Someone else mentioned seeing her awhile ago.)

Alli- I had no idea about your H's chemo? I'm sorry. Is everything ok? (Stupid question, of course, but you know what I mean.) And YAY fall weddings! Heather's your DOC right? How is she doing?

SuperRN- YAY. I already stalked some of your pictures. I want to see them all. All of them.

Steph, FI has wegener's granuloomatosis vasulitis - 3 years ago he was on life support and just about died. (Essentially, it's where his immune system started to attack his lungs, kidneys, and other vital organs!) so he will forever be on a form of chemo, but the one he currently is on changes the chromosome make up of sperm, therefore we were told we cannot have kids until he's off of it and changed over to another medication. He's doing great actually - his mom is amazing in telling me all of the stories and what to watch for, but I think I've become a paranoid future wife!

Heather is my DOC, I am SO super excited to have her be a part of the big day! She has been so crazy busy with other weddings. She emails me and I always feel like her only client, she's awesome. That's all I can really say because otherwise I would start to repeat myself and use synonyms of "awesome" for her!
The house looks AWESOME steph - are you in the process of doing some major projects? It has to be amazing to finally own a place of your own!

That's so scary about your H, but it sounds like he's got it 'under control' at least. Best of luck with everything!
The house is awesome.

It's a lot of work, but it's nice to call it 'ours' you know? The biggest stuff was windows, carpet, and appliances- all of which were hired out. But our next big project is the backyard and trees/shrubs.

Legg- FINALLY. I'm off to stalk your pictures rightnow. I love your sig. love love love.

Hi Steph! Glad to see you haven't disappeared

I got married in June and have some of our favorite pics on my Married BIo.

Things are going well. We're just working and enjoying married life-though no plans to get preggers any time soon. We're planning on waiting another couple years. We want a house first (which we plan to start seriously looking next spring/early summer) and some time to save a little more.

Happy to hear that everything is going well for you. I can't believe that you've almost been married a year. I remember anxiously waiting to see you wedding pics and that doesn't feel like it was that long ago.

My lord... how did I miss all of that? She was actually my DOC... and I remember being super careful not to 'out' her. I knew that she stopped posting on here, but I didn't know she was banned. I just assumed she thought it was too risky (or, admittedly, I did have an irrational fear that it had something to do with me. It's a LONG story!)

Steph! How are you doing? (I'm posting from my phone sorry for the sucky format) Not sure if anyone else would reconize my SN or not. I got married 2 years ago, this March. Scary how fast time flys. We are due mid Feb with our first. As you can see from my siggy, its a BOY. :) super excited about everything else in my world, nanny job is going fab as is the rest of my hobbies. Hehe. I still lurk here and love seeing updates, figured I say hi as well. :)

Yeah, Heather was my DOC. I loved her on the day of, but heard some disparaging comments from members of my family and wedding party about the way she interacted with them, so when she asked me if I'd want to do a testimonial on her website, I told her I wasn't exactly comfortable... and it kind of resulted in a little email battle that lasted a couple of days. As a result, I was totally terrified that somehow I had something to do with her departure from TK. I am really glad that it was something completely unrelated. Although, it sucks for her that she was outed.

It wouldn't surprise me if it had been LS that did it. She would get realllly upset if former brides became vendors but kept posting, even if they did nothing to promote their business (I remember her bitching SMorriso out when I first joined). But, all I know is that it wasn't me. I miss Heather around these parts!
