    1.      What is your wedding date?
    Saturday, July 30th
    2.
What is the feel/theme of your wedding?
Water (i.e. seashells, waves, shades of blue, sand, etc)
    3.
How big of a wedding are you planning?
    250 guests
    4.
Have you tried to include something to celebrate the season you are getting married in?
    Good question!  And nope
    5.
What is your favorite pick for your wedding thus far?
My FI!  LOL  And for non-breathing things the music and musicians
    6.
What is the biggest thing on your to-do list still?
    Final decision on the flowers
    7.
Are you happy with all your choices thus far, or is there something you wish you didn’t have to settle on?
I'm pretty happy; wish I hadn't had to settle on a cheaper venue (though it is lovely) and I do keep re-thinking my gown (which is also lovely).  Got to stop watching Say Yes to the Dress!  LOL
    8.
What’s something you didn’t mind settling on?
I really can't think of anything other than those above that I've "settled" on; and really they were more of a compromise.
    9.
How are you planning on getting your OOT guests to the ceremony/reception?
They all have family here who are also invited so are coming with them.
    10.
Are your ceremony and reception in the same place?
Yes; just doing a cake/punch/coffee reception
    11.

    What is your venue?
Fox Island United Church of Christ
    12.
What is your favorite part about your venue? Is there anything you would change about it?
It has a beautiful blue stained glass cross in the middle of a bank of windows that look out over Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains.  I wish it would hold more people (had to cut the list way down to fit everyone)
    13.
Are you doing OOT welcome bags?
Nope, they all used to live here
    14.

If so, what are you planning to put in them?
    N/A
    15.
Are you doing any DIY projects?
    Yep
    16.
If so, what are you planning to DIY?
Invitations, centerpieces, personalizing wrapped candy, prepping bubble guns
    17.
Have you been doing most of the things yourself, or have you had someone helping you?
My FI and I are doing it all
    18.  If you’re doing e-pics, where did you and FI decide to do them?
    Didn't do them

    19.  What’s the most unique thing you are including in your wedding?
Not sure anything is "unique".  Honoring those family members who have passed away, doing hourglass sand ceremony, and having lots of live music
    20.  Is there anything you need help with? Still can't decide how I want the flowers to look, stressing about my alterations (see prior post) so nerves to settle down.

    1. What is your wedding date?

    July 16, 2011

    2.
What is the feel/theme of your wedding?

Whimsical elegance with a sprinkling of butterflies (not real ones).

    3.
How big of a wedding are you planning?

    100-120 people.

    4.
Have you tried to include something to celebrate the season you are getting married in?

Not really? I mean, other than having a lakeside wedding in the beginning of summer.

    5.
What is your favorite pick for your wedding thus far?

Our venue! So beautiful. And our cake. Creme de la Creme is my favorite and working with Bart in designing our cake was wonderful.

    6.
What is the biggest thing on your to-do list still?

Caterer meeting to finalize the menu.

    7.
Are you happy with all your choices thus far, or is there something you wish you didn’t have to settle on?

I am happy so far, but I think as much as I love my venue, if I had to do it again, I'd just rent the private room at Canlis or the Herbfarm and have a much smaller wedding with /incredible/ food and wine.

    8.
What’s something you didn’t mind settling on?

I don't feel we've really had to settle yet. Other than not having a videographer, and if it makes him feel more comfortable... sigh.

    9.
How are you planning on getting your OOT guests to the ceremony/reception?

The ceremony and reception are at the main hotel we've booked. If people are staying at other hotels, they can find their own way there.

    10.
Are your ceremony and reception in the same place?

    Yes.

    11.
    What is your venue?

    The Woodmark Hotel.

    12.
What is your favorite part about your venue? Is there anything you would change about it?

It's right along Lake Washington and is gorgeous.

    13.
Are you doing OOT welcome bags?

    Yep.

    14.
If so, what are you planning to put in them?

Bottled water, snacks, Theo's or Fran's chocolate, possibly a bag of Rainier cherries, maps/tour guide things.

    15.
Are you doing any DIY projects?

    A few small things.

    16.
If so, what are you planning to DIY?

I am printing out our menus and programs on stationary provided by our invitation designers (Brown Sugar Designs). My friend is quilting the welcome baskets herself, we'll be stuffing them. I need to work on the seating chart and guest books and I'm bedazzling some white hoodies for my girls and myself. I also programmed the entire RSVP section for our website and coded the website in its entirety.

    17.
Have you been doing most of the things yourself, or have you had someone helping you?

    I have a wedding planner.

    18. If you’re doing e-pics, where did you and FI decide to do them?

We haven't decided where yet. Ideally, I'd love to do them in Vancouver, but that might be an added expense we don't want to deal with right now with a new house and all.

    19. What’s the most unique thing you are including in your wedding?

We'll be hosting a brunch the Sunday after our wedding and will be there to meet and greet our guests in traditional Korean costumes.

    20. Is there anything you need help with?

Not really. I've been planning slowly for a very long time so I'm just kind of waiting for the day now.

    1.      What is your wedding date?
    December 17th this year!
    2.      What is the feel/theme of your wedding?
    Vintage/Rustic
    3.      How big of a wedding are you planning?
    *Hopefully* under 120
    4.      Have you tried to include something to celebrate the season you are getting married in?
We are planning on having a hot cocoa and hot apple cider station. We are also having our photog take "fauxtobooth" pics for those that want it with a wooden sleigh we are renting from our venue.
    5.      What is your favorite pick for your wedding thus far?
I dk that I have a favorite. Possibly the sleigh for pics. Smile
    6.      What is the biggest thing on your to-do list still?
Probably cake since I haven't booked that vendor yet, but I still have to finalize all the contracts with the vendors and FI and I still have our 4 pre-marital counseling sessions, so there's lots left to do...
    7.      Are you happy with all your choices thus far, or is there something you wish you didn’t have to settle on?
I'm pretty happy with everything I just wish our venue was a little bigger... Hopefully we get atleast 40 no's in our RSVPs...
    8.      What’s something you didn’t mind settling on?
Flowers. I just can't see spending crazy money for flower for one day...
    9.      How are you planning on getting your OOT guests to the ceremony/reception?
I think we're thinking about getting shuttles, as many people probably will not want to stay out in snohomish for the weekend...
    10.  Are your ceremony and reception in the same place?
    Yep
    11.  What is your venue?
    Craven Farms
    12.  What is your favorite part about your venue? Is there anything you would change about it?
I love that it comes pre-decorated, but they don't put up Christmas decor. Sooo many places got vetoed because they decorate for christmas and were not willing to take and of it down.
    13.  Are you doing OOT welcome bags?
I'm thinking about it as we'll have a lot of OOT, but I think most of them have been to Washington before, so I don't know.
    14.  If so, what are you planning to put in them?
    Haven't figured it out yet
    15.  Are you doing any DIY projects?
    A couple
    16.  If so, what are you planning to DIY?
I'm planning to make our cake topper and center pieces
    17.  Have you been doing most of the things yourself, or have you had someone helping you?
Mostly by myself. I've put FI in charge of music and transport.
    18.  If you’re doing e-pics, where did you and FI decide to do them?
We're doing e-pics, but haven't picked a place. I was thinking Bothell Landing, but they're doing lots of construction there right now.
    19.  What’s the most unique thing you are including in your wedding?
I don't know that there's anything super unique about my wedding. Probably the most unique is the wooden sleigh "fauxtobooth".

OMG!! I meant to just write music aka the sounds a piano can make.  I didn't even realize how it read!  Yep, I will be letting my musicians breathe (one is my 3rd grade teacher, 1 is one of my oldest friends and another has a husband who would not be happy if she stopped breathing).  Is it 5 o'clock yet?  LOL

omg the sleigh is so rad! snoho is a very popular venue site. we looked at the chapel there in town but it was too expensive for the way it looked.. just didn't blow us away for 2g.

The barn is very popular and i see a lot of beautiful pics from there! If we had chosen a rustic theme we would have chosen that venue too.

what/how are you making your caketopper? just curious... i've been considering it too, but not completely sure on what yet.

The nice thing about this state is.. we have so much!! so oot bags are super easy to do.. frans, starbucks, wine, cheeses, yum :)
