Help w/ wedding Shower activities

So I'm helping my best friend plan my wedding shower (instead of a bridal shower we're having a wedding shower, so my husband to be doesn't feel left out)
and it's a 50's housewife pot luck themed party. Our problem is we can't think of any activities that will entertain both our female AND male guests. HELP!

Honestly, showers don't need to have entertainment. A lot of women don't like shower games, and most men would absolutely not want to participate in any games.  That is the most common entertainment for a shower.

Here is what I think makes a great couples shower:
*Good atmosphere (decorate reasonably within your theme, doesn't need to be over the top, maybe put on music depending  on the location)
    *Good food and beverages
    *Good conversation

I would stress less about entertainment and people will probably enjoy themselves more just mingling with eachother.

I agree.  I hate being forced to participate in games.

Men are so competitive in nature, how about some Minute To Win It or game show kinds of games?  They're hilarious to watch and game shows  kind of fits into the 50's theme.
