i seem to get more response on this message board then the others so herer goes. i need some ideas on how to wear my hair for my big day. i have long natural curly hair that is frizzy and annoying. i on the reg keep my hair pulled back in a ponytail 99.999 percent of the time. he wants hair down i want up so we comprimised and decided to go half and half. have no clue where to begin to even try to think of a way to wear my hair. any suggestions

    I really think you're going to want to budget for a stylist.  When you go to the trial, ask them to recommend styles.  Selecting photos online tends to get people with difficult to style hair attached to things that their hair just can't/won't do.

    Your hair sounds a lot like mine.  My hair is about 4 inches below my shoulders (in it's curly state), and is naturally very curly, like 1" spirals. It's very frizz-prone, but on a good hair day I really like how it looks.  I wear it back 99% of the time because I'm AD military, so I really didn't want an up-do.

    I'm getting my hair done professionally (because I just don't have the skills to do it myself), and we decided that she would curl it to mimic my natural curls so that it would be more predictable on wedding day instead of at the mercy of the hair gods. Here is what she came up with:

    showed him both pics yall posted. he likes them both. they are both kind of what i had in mind. i hate my hair to know in. whats really sad is my mom does hair and she hates to mess with it. thanks so much for the pics. @avion he likes the way yours was done because he wants me to put flowers in my hair and something like that would probly hold them pretty well.
