A couple I know justgot engaged and are planning a spring wedding in New York. They have caviar taste on a sliced bread budget. The venue of their dreams is the garden room on top of the Rockefeller building. Unfortunately, that would be about a $70,000 wedding. They're going to look into having the ceremont there on a Friday and foregoing a sit down dinner for a cocktail hour, but are there any comparable sites for a fraction of the cost? I want them to have the wedding of their dreams and not let money dictate that. Please help!

    The guest list is at 200 right now. The budget is around $20k.

    Check out the 3 West Club (www.3Westclub.com)
    Private club with terrace overlooking St. Pats and Rockefeller Center.  Fantastic food and lovely ballroom.  They may have too many people for it, but if they can trim their guest list, they should be able to fit thier budget there.

    3West will be at least around $100-125 before tax - I visited late last year, so that's fairly current.  That wouldn't work...
