Poll: Catering Cost

Sorry, I'm not savvy enough to know how to revise my previous poll.  Here is the new one:

Re: Poll: Catering Cost

We are right at $28/pp all included, but our venue has its own tableware and linens, so that's not quite fair. That said our caterer seems to somehow be a few bucks per person cheaper than the other quotes I've gotten, and the food is still great!

We're at about $36 per person, including food, service staff, china/silver, linens, tax and gratuity. Alcohol will be extra. And our venue has chairs and tables we're using.

Ours is $18/pp including food, labor/staff, bartender, dishware, and linens.  And the food is so yummy & made from scratch!

w/o alcohol i'm guessing it was about $92/pp, our grand total included alcohol, and it was $105/pp.

Ours is about $33/pp for food, dishes, service & tax.  But we added some extras that we may take back out to save some money.  With out the exras I think we're at about $25/pp.

Including unlimited beer, wine, glasses and service, the total (without taking out our extras) is about $46/pp.

Like PP, we added extras to ours (coffee, punch, ice cream sundae bar, fruit display, double entree, and an extra appetizer). Total after extras is $28.50/pp, without it would have been $22/pp.  That does include china, flatware, linens, and service.  Bartender with glasses is an additional $200.

Ours came to $101.50 pp w/o alcohol (but including apps) & $119.00 with all beverages.

This is why we had such a small guest list.  It was much more important to us that our wedding reflected us as a couple and to have our closest family around to celebrate than it was to invite everyone we know (or are related to).  That being said, if we could have done the same thing and invited everyone.....of course we would have, but it just wasn't in the budget.

Food and alcohol is about $180 for us so far. It might even out a bit more if we have more guests, as we're at the base of an adjusted minimum for our venue. (This includes rentals: tables and chairs, linens, place settings, servers etc... can't separate it out. It doesn't include tax, gratuity, or the cost of a bartender.)

About $200/pp with venue, alcohol (open bar), cake, tax/tip...venue does its own catering and this was the all-inclusive price so I'm not sure how much it was separately.
