Happy Cinco De Mayo!

I have that "uno dos tres!" song in my head today!

It's good to finally have some time to post again. School was insane this semester. But I'm finally done! I was on the 10 year plan. :) These past 2 weeks have been insane. We had our 1 yr anniversary, i had final exams, my capstone team went to semi finals and then took 2nd place overall in finals, we bought a house yesterday...now life will finally be slowing down for me! I just need to learn how to pick out paint colors/furniture soon before I go insane. I'm awful with this decorating stuff!!!

How is everybody?

Yea...well...we didnt WALK away...they didnt accept our offer :(. Oh well..it wasn't the house for us! After going through all that house hunting crap with houses already on the market, we just decided to get a new house!

We are moving about 5 minutes from the airport, near Lake Nona. We absolutely LOVE the community!

Have you picked out a theme or "vibe" that you are looking for? That may help with the paint colors! When we went to go visit the model home, i took a bunch of pictures for inspiration! I love earth tones (greens, oranges, browns, beiges, etc) so i think that this will be my color palette except for one room which i think we're going to do the brown, beige, and BLUE thing in.

Anyway, i figured that would lead you in the right direction Laughing

Grice and Stoves in the same neighbourhood? Smells like trouble to me - the good kind!!

I'm trying to get back into maintenance mode with work - it would help if I would quit slacking off one or two days a week and getting distracted on here.... oh, damn. ;) We bought a new mattress last weekend to replace DH's Big Lots Special that he's had for, oh, 15 years. I'm sooo looking forward to getting in bed and not having to toss and scootch around just to get in a position where my back and neck don't hurt! If you've ever stayed at a W Hotel, this bed is a lot like their Heavenly bed.... omg I wanna go to bed now! lol!

Still anxiously awaiting wedding photos and trying to decide on a TTD location with Tab. We're also getting ready to begin Project Dog in earnest! YAY!

Congrats to everyone on the houses and making it through crazy times!

BTW, I think it's time to start thinking about the next gtg, dontcha think? ;)

Awesome! Love that you love what I love! Simple furniture sounds so good right now! I can't wait to get this house, paint, decorate, and sip on some lemonade while overlooking the water *sigh*

I'm upset that I dont have fb access at work...man i have to wait until like 4 to see this status!

Oh and Alyssa...i promise you that i thought the SAME thing (about the g2g) 3 seconds before you posted it! You know i'm down...as long as it is like June 12th-ish...i officially move from Tampa back to my parents house on that day! oh and please dont make it on the 19th because that's my bridal shower! Woot Woot!

It could be earlier though...that would give me an excuse to come to Kissimmee and do house stuff. lol

Congrats on the house!!!! You have had a very exciting month!

I had my last final yesterday and graduate this weekend!! My fam is arriving tomorrow so I am really excited but busy getting everything done!

Next week I am going with FMIL to FSIL's new house in Chatanooga for like a week.  I am so excited! I get to see FSIL's new baby for the first time (well I guess he isn't that new anymore- he is 6 mo old) and her new house. Should be an interesting trip since its just FMIL and me... FI and his Dad are going on a business trip.
